HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022 to ALL USERS AND VIEWERS of this Blog!!
Thank you for being users and viewers of this blog.
If you are not a student still pursuing your studies on a regular program to get your certificate or degree, then you are a Lifelong Learner; that is wisdom and I congratulate you.
Let’s talk briefly about Lifelong Learning or Continuous Learning.
For UNESCO, Education and Lifelong Learning are viewed as conditions to keep pace with continuous changing societies, global job markets and technologies.
In its report “Learning: The Treasure Within” (1996), the International Commission on Education for the Twenty-first Century refers to Lifelong Learning as “Learning through life”, a key to the twenty-first century. It says that learning through life will be essential for adapting to the evolving requirements of the labor market and for better mastery of the changing time-frame and rhythms of individual existence.
Hereafter are statements of few wise and eminent personalities about the importance of lifelong learning.
Mahatma Gandhi said: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
Henry Ford, the American auto-maker: “Anyone who stops learning is old whether at 20 or 80. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.”
Albert Einstein: “Once you stop learning, you start dying.”
87 years old Michelangelo: “I am still learning.”
